Second Dose: 4-6 years old (may be given earlier, if at least 28 days after the first dose)
Let the doctor know if the person getting the vaccine:
1.) Has HIV/AIDS or any other disease that affects the immune system
2.) Is being treated with steriods, or any other drug that affects the immune system
3.) Has any type of cancer, and if they are being treated for cancer with radiation or drugs
4.) Has ever had a low platelet count (blood disorder)
5.) Has gotten another vaccine within the past 4 weeks
6.) Has recently had a transfusion or received other blood products
Any of these reasons may cause you to not get the vaccine or may delay vaccination until later.

Recommended MMR Immunization Schedule
Children should get 2 doses of MMR:
