Who should receive this vaccine?
The MMR vaccine can protect children and adults from all three of these diseases. All children should receive the vaccine at the scheduled time. Anyone 18 years or older who was born after 1956 should get at least one dose of the MMR vaccine unless you can show you have either been vaccinated or have had all three diseases.

Two doses of the MMR vaccine are given to provide immunity to the 5% of people who fail to develop immunity after the first dose
Who should receive this vaccine?
The MMR vaccine can protect children and adults from all three of these diseases. All children should receive the vaccine at the scheduled time.
